Aaliyah Haughton made headlines in 1994 when she released her debut album Age Ain't Nothing but the number. It was Gold in the year she turned just 15 years old. It was made as a collaboration that was highly influenced by R. Kelly and it brought her into the limelight. In the year 1996 Jermaine and Timbaland made Aaliyah's album One In A Million. It contained If Your Girls Only Knew, the single that was most popular. With the debut of the album Aaliyah gained international attention for her performance as an R&B singer. In 2000, she was as a character in Romeo Must Die, a romance/action movie with Jet-Li. The role was offered to her following an interview with film director Joel Silver at an awards event. In 2002 she had the opportunity to play the vampire flick Queen of the Damned which was an adaptation of The Anne Rice novel. The Matrix Sequels was her first role in The Matrix Sequels. Other than The Big Bang Theory her most notable work includes Leverage (2012) Suits (2013) as well as Grey's Anatomy (2017). The actress has been featured in a variety of commercials including Volvo's international car maker. She currently lives with her family in Los Angeles along with her husband, daughter and pursues her acting profession.
